What We Do

Polygon is a one-stop film studio, serving all production needs with a complete slate of production services, state-of-the-art equipment and studio-scale facilities.

We have an experienced in-house production team, with a range of specialists including producers, LP’s, AD’s, DP’s, editors, animators, matte painters, compositors, technical directors and modelers. We offer the following services:

Facilities and Equipment

We are located on the former site of Industrial Light & Magic, and have at our disposal all of the stages, shops, production space and physical effects departments that were part of the ILM campus. This is a partial list of the facilities and equipment that set us apart:

•3 large sound stages: 40’x80’, 55’x100’ and 100’x120’ with 20-30’ grids and high-power evacuation fans for special effects work

•A large outdoor back-lot for exterior sets and/or pyrotechnical and other special effects heavy shoots

•Makeup and wardrobe facilities

•Complete camera department with film (Arri 4perf & VistaVision) and HD Video (Sony F23’s), as well as two F23 3-D stereo rigs for 3-D productions

•Multiple motion control systems

•Complete grip packages

•Complete lighting packages for live action and miniature photography

•Large assortment of blue & green screens

•Complete fabrication, creature, and model shops

•Prop and set construction

•Metal welding bays and CNC / lathe machine shop

•Production offices

•Computer graphics and post facility
